Do not be put off by the outline of a budget hotel, this hotel in Rodney Bay Hamlet will give you great good value. A Boutique Hotel at Budget costs in St Lucia at Rodney Bay Town does not appear to be a practical offer, but the 4 star prize winning Coco Palm Hotel manages to do that, and even rather more. Coco Palm has 72 rooms and apartments, and is rated in the top 3 hostels in Gros Islet in St Lucia, winning the Budget Travel Award 'Best Values 2008 ' covering the Caribbean. Here's where the slight perplexity may arise, because everybody has an opinion of a budget hotel and it is not usually an excellent one, but Coco Palm breaks the mold.
The hotel grade is 4 star, but with a difference. There's no formal reception desk and concierge. All you'll see are all grins staff who await your pleasure in the hotel lobby. There are plenty of them, and you'll get asked all of the time if you want anything whatsoever to boost things for you. This is great to experience.
Guests comments are always terribly exposing, and when you hear words like 'Perfect and Relaxing ', or as robust as 'Out of this World ', then your interest has to pick up. Add to this a comment like 'Great experience in a wonderful hotel ', and 'Great experience beautiful holiday in a great location ', that you must truly sit up and take notice, that Coco Palm may indeed be a budget hotel, and it sounds a bit like a high quality boutique hotel. One contented purchaser even compared the standard of private service to one of the top hostels in the Caribbean, which is a rare compliment indeed.
You'll find the employees at the Coco Palm Hotel go out of the way for you, and they make a great atmosphere due to this. The property itself with the bright kind of red roofs and yellow front has a North Western european feel to it, yet it still is extremely Caribbean. One of the good things about this place for a vacation in St Lucia, is that it's comparatively tiny, thus not at all impersonal. Rooms are big, toilets have rain showers, and the pool is great, with no issues getting sunbeds, and that in itself helps make your vacation ideal for relaxing, with no necessity to rise at 4am to get a place round the pool. Though not on the beach the locale of the Coco Palm is convenient for groceries,, a wine shop and several eateries are within just a few mins walking time. Try the Red Snapper and Dolphins, they're easily worth a visit. If you like ice cream then there's an ice cream shop close by too. Meals in the hotel are taken at the Ti Banana Eaterie and Bar, with well priced gratifying meals. The individually priced breakfast menu is very good, with a minimal cost cold breakfast, but if you need the hot smorgasboard the price goes up, and then you can select more dishes and the price goes up again.
This is far better than lots of other places where breakfast is all the same, and generally expensive price, whether or not you are not particularly hungry you pay the exact same price. If you remember this is a budget boutique hotel, then you'll have a great St Lucia holiday Package, and be continuously and happily shocked how good Coco Palm is, and what phenomenal staff work there.
